Week 1

Concept Development

Team pitched and selected the retro-futuristic train station concept. Established key principles: interactive stage elements, manageable scope, visual storytelling priority, and familiar yet unique setting.

Week 2

Foundation & Planning

Production design initiated mood boards. Script development began with multiple iterations. Technical team established Perforce workspace, naming conventions, and collaborative file structure.

Week 3

Asset Development

Finalized script and set layout. Created asset sheets for team assignments. UE team began blockout with kitbashed assets. Production design started material tests and detailed blueprints.

Week 4

Pre-Production Refinement

Actors cast, costume design initiated. Finalized blueprints and material swatches. Shot schedule created with lighting diagrams and equipment lists prepared.

Week 5

First Load Test

Initial XR stage testing revealed screen-to-camera translation nuances. Composition and color correction adjustments made. Team identified spatial limitations and developed alternative solutions.

Week 6

Refinement Phase

Replaced kitbashes with custom assets. Texturing and set dressing accelerated. Lighting implementation advanced. Adjusted foliage and debris based on design feedback and optimization needs.

Week 7

Shoot Days

Final touches to virtual and physical scenes. Photoscanned debris integration. Real-time color matching and optimization on stage. Multiple technical challenges resolved through team collaboration.

Week 8

Post-Production Begins

File transfer and data organization. Created post-production task spreadsheet. Rough edit completed with team review for pacing and composition improvements.

Week 9

Final Polish

CG shot reviews and iterations. BTS documentation editing. Website development and asset turntables creation. Sound design collaboration initiated.
